Common Sense SEO

Common sense SEO is really the best way to rank your site if you want to rank your site for a long time in the search engines such as Google, Bing and the other minor search engines.

Many people think that SEO is some sort of mystical thing that they have to hit a witch doctor up, or burn leaves in a crazy fashion in their yard, or sell parts of their body on eBay in order to rank your site. Of course I'm being facetious but the fact the matter is very few people apply common sense SEO when you're trying to rank your website in the search engines.

The thing about SEO is that one must take a look at a variety of things if they are considering entering that arena.

Things to consider are what is the competition doing for their SEO as well as what is the competition level for which are trying to rank. It makes no sense for somebody who is not well seasoned and SEO to try and compete for something that is very hard is that will cause frustration at the lack of revenue due to poor ranking. Smart Internet marketer take a look at what the competition might be before stepping into the arena and decides if that is something for which they can rank.

There are many tools to use when you're deciding whether you want to attempt to rank a particular keyword and many of those tools are good if used properly. Once you decide if you want to attack that particular keyword and ranking in search engines such as Google and Bing, then you want to consider what you need to do in order to rank.

Of course the first thing you want to look at each on-site SEO and if you on-site SEO is okay then you need to start considering what you need to do for your offsite SEO. Many people just apply a generic process which is bantered about by many in the industry. And that's fine if you're okay with page 3 in Google; it is not fine if you want to make any money on your site.

What one must do is apply common sense to their SEO and customized their off-site SEO in such a way that will be unique and effective. Unfortunately many people felt they advantage of that and for that reason do not rank their sites in Google.
